Cecilia and John are siblings in Form 4 and 3 respectively (Grade 12 and 11).
They were both born infected with HIV and are therefore on lifelong antiretroviral drugs. They live in a low economic rural area with meager job opportunities and very low production farmland. Their mother is a casual laborer who sells snacks to construction workers on the days when she does not get hired.
She is also taking care of their grandmother who recently suffered a stroke. Cecilia is on track to finish 12th grade after which she will need some specialized training to prepare her for the job market. We need your support to help raise funds to get Cecilia through tertiary level college so that she can start her own business or get employment based on the skill training she chooses.
