Joseph is in Grade six.

Both his parents are alive but his father is an alcoholic and drug addict, so his mother is the only one fending for the family. She has a small grocery stall where she sells vegetables. She makes about 150 Kenya shillings ($1.20) a day which can barely meet her family’s basic needs. He has three brothers and two sisters.
