Nderitu attends a special school for children with disabilities.

He was born with severe cerebral palsy. Both his parents are in the low income wage bracket. He has a younger brother and sister. Although Samuel has severe developmental challenges, being in school has helped him acquire some basic skills like feeding, dressing and toilet training.
